Yesterday I took a day trip to St. Jacobs, Ontario where I came across this charming "Dress-up" store.
ABOUT DREAMPOWER
Dreampower was born 22 years ago, from the vision and creativity of Shari Woods. Shari is the mother of five children (now all grown up!) Shari understood the important role of imaginative play in kids lives and development.
Shari designed and hand-sewed her first costume masterpieces for her own children. They received such praise and interest from other kids and their parents, that she quickly saw the demand for her unique costume designs.Dreampower was an immediate hit!
Fourteen years ago, after graduating with a degree in Fine Arts, daughter Sarah joined the Dream-life! Six years ago, Sarah's daughter Maya was born. She has become one of our favourite costume models. Now Maya is joined by little sister Macy, two years old.
Shari and Sarah use the finest fabrics, and original designs to create heirloom quality, everyday-wearable dress-up clothes.

Directions: 90 minutes / 100 km West of Toronto 120 minutes / 130 km north west of Niagara Falls.
From Highway #401, take Highway #8 west to Kitchener, then Highway #85 to Waterloo. Exit Highway #85 at Regional Road #17 (Picards Peanuts) and follow the signs. They are on the right hand side at the far end of the business section.
